Dear WIN Health Readers,
This time around I would like to take a moment to reflect on a milestone that has arrived for me. This past June 13th, 2018, marks an unforgettable moment in my life as it has been 10 years since I have graduated from the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College (CMCC) to begin my career has a Chiropractor.
Those early days were filled with excitement to finally begin promoting the many benefits of chiropractic to those who want to make the most of their lives. As I searched for a place to set up shop, my path lead me back to Niagara to eventually meet the friendly members of the WIN Health Solutions team who so graciously accepted my application to join them and took me under their wing.
Over the past 10 years a lot of things have changed but one thing has remained the same, the commitment to promoting health and wellness with a smile from the team at WIN Health Solutions, which has also made the past 10 years unforgettable.
So where do I begin in thanking all those who have been on this adventure with me.
Firstly, I would like to thank our leading ladies who handle the front line. Without your support and commitment to making our work environment fun, happy and fluid I can honestly say I do not know where I would be without you. I know our hours of work can be long and sometimes challenging, but you handle it with the utmost professionalism and integrity. I look forward each day to hearing your stories of family events, personal goals and fun past times. Just make sure you hide your chocolate otherwise I can’t promise I won’t eat it. 😊
To the practitioners of WIN, your ongoing support and commitment to providing leading health care initiatives has no comparison in our area. You have created a positive, motivating and caring environment that our patients can excel in while following their paths to recovery and overall wellness.
To the clinic owners, Dr. Ernie and Dr. Laura, thank you so much for your ongoing support and friendship over the past 10 years. You have created a phenomenal environment to which we all can enjoy personal growth and development. Your dedication to the health field and to the members of WIN Health Solutions is second to none. You have seen me through the rookie stage and now a veteran in my field of health care and I could have not chosen a better place to pursue my career.
To my clientele, some of you have joined me on the pursuit of health wellness for the past 10 years and have risen to the challenge of self-awareness to establish the best possible plan of action for your health. I can only hope that I have instilled a sense of peace, ease and clarity in your pursuit for your overall betterment. I can say full heartedly that you have also inspired me and helped me maintain my health goals through my own personal struggles. I truly enjoy all our conversations and the many inside jokes that have developed between us. So, thank you all for placing your trust and health in chiropractic and letting me be a part of it.
To my family, you have guided me through eight years of schooling and now 10 years of practice. You listen without judgement but provide sound advice, so I may see all perspectives.
Finally, I would like to thank my wife, Erika Bird. You have been so supportive and patient throughout the past six years and give me the strength every day to be a better man, husband and father. You handle my long hours, late nights and weekends catching up on my work with the grace of an angel and yet still find time to make me smile and savour the down times with our family. I owe it all to you as without out you I would be lost. It is something very special to find that connection with someone to make a life path together as smooth as possible.
So, all in all I am so truly blessed to have found a balance with my work/client family and my own personal family. I love you all and I am so blessed to have you all in my life.
